Nativ Ibiza Alive (NIA) festival ‘The meeting of creativity, culture, innovation and sustainability’ will take place this Friday in the city of Eivissa to raise awareness of the need to care for the environment.
According to its organizer and founder, it is an event. Native IbizaMassimo Shadi Saab will bring art, culture and sustainable activities to the streets with the aim of “activating the common conscience”.

From Friday to Sunday, the NIA will fill l’Eixample, Parc de la Pau, Mercat Nou and its surroundings with a multitude of events for all audiences that will combine artistic and cultural interventions, workshops and sustainable activities. .
More than 40 acts and proposals will take place, including live music, performances, live painting, sculpture, gastronomy, video mapping, percussion, sustainable fashion, street art and children’s play, among other experiences.
Among the highlights, artist Aida Miró and artists Omar Enfenddal and Rom Ero will perform an intervention on the facade and interior of Mercat Nou.
The NIA festival was born with the aim of raising collective awareness as well as collaborating and promoting local trade and km0 products.
Similarly, artist Jorge Bruges and the Creatives for the Planet association will hold an art workshop at Ses Figueretes beach consisting of cleaning, a storyteller, reused materials, sculptures, videos and a performance, among other activities.
With the cooperation of Eivissa City Council, Eivissa Council and Escola d’Art, all the works of the festival were created under the premise of 5R: Recycle, Reuse, Recover, Reduce, Redesign.
The event program, which will begin with a documentary screening, workshops and sustainable events on Friday at 6 pm, will continue with DJ music, storytelling, video mapping, live percussion and more live music until the closing. until 00:00 hours.
On Saturday, the second day will start at Mercat Nou with artistic interventions by Aida Miró, Omar Enfenddal and Rom Ero, a gastronomy master class by chef David Reartes and a tasting of seasonal products organized by the Pimeef del Mercat Nou association.
After the wish tree, where sustainable events and workshops will take place from 10:00, it will be the performance of the artist Inés Sarmiento, the children’s Street Art event and the art show at 12:00. live.
From 13:00 there will be DJ music and a sustainable restoration of sculptures and live art will continue. Percussion beats will play at 14:30, followed by a skateboard master class, electronic percussion, and more live music until 19:00, with video mapping among the trees. They will play dj from 20:30 until midnight.
On Sunday, the last day will start with workshops and sustainable events at 10:30 and continue at 11:00 with Street Art for children and an inclusive petanque game for children organized by the Ibiza and Formentera Adapted Sports Association. (ADIF). . At 1:00 pm there will be a drum party to close the three-day meeting.
